About the event

Speed of Organisational Learning is often cited as a source of sustainable competitive advantage. It is not clear however what role it plays in the competitive landscape, what its components are and what the greatest challenges are when in its establishment/operation and how it can become established as a strategy focused eco system.

To demonstrate what's possible, our presenters will provide insight into:

  • ‘Vision Led’ learning – an assessment of emerging trends – with a focus on its role in leading technologically driven change.
  • The introduction and management of an organisational learning function:

            -    crucial factors for fostering a culture of continuous learning,

            -    aspects of building an effective organisational learning function, and

            -    factors of organisational learning contributing to the realisation of long-term benefits for organisational growth and resilience.

Our speakers for this session are:

  • Dr Martijn Rademakers, CEO of Tonos Care in Amsterdam and Adjunct Professor and advisor in the field of strategy, organisation, and learning. Martijn is author of the management book ‘Corporate Universities’ (Routledge’).
  • Dr Stuart Orr, Principal of the SMI will follow Martijn’s presentation and conduct polling on the above topics.
  • Dr Paul Hunter, Founder Strategic Management Institute (SMI) will introduce and mediate the session.

The webinar will be held on the evening (AEDT) of Tuesday 13th March, 2024. It will commence at 6.00 pm and conclude at 7.00 pm. We look forward to seeing you at that time.

This event is a re-rerun of a postponed event that was cancelled last week as a result of electricity outages experienced in NSW and Victoria. A link to the event will be provided in the near future.
